What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed (never plaintext) password. When you use the product, we store the content you generate, your usage counts (for enforcing plan limits), and — if you subscribe — billing identifiers from our payment processor. We do not require this information to browse the marketing pages of the site.
Third parties we use
- Stripe — processes payments. We never see or store your full card number.
- Third-party AI providers — process your prompts and inputs to generate memes, images, captions, and video.
- Resend — sends transactional email (account verification, password-related notices).
We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. It's required for the product to function and isn't used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Your content
You own what you generate with Memeify. We process your inputs to produce the output, and store generated content and usage history so you can access it and so we can enforce plan limits — we don't use your content to train models.
Data retention & deletion
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and its associated data at any time from Settings → Data Controls, or by emailing us at the address below.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. If you're in a jurisdiction with additional data rights (such as the EU/UK GDPR or California's CCPA), those rights apply to you as well — contact us and we'll respond.
